Christian Marriage Counselors

No matter what kind of problems or decisions you may be encountering it is always recommended to seek wise counsel. If it is a difficulty in your marriage it is even more important. For Christians and everyone else for that matter, there is no better counsel than Biblical counsel which is what you should hear from the many Christian marriage counselors available. Christian marriage counselors are located almost everywhere and will try to schedule a time that is convenient for you and your spouse so there is no excuse not to visit one at the first sign of trouble.

There are many counselors listed in the yellow pages and online. If you are a Christian you should only be seeking out Biblically sound Christian marriage counselors. As the psalmist wrote in Psalm 107:11 “…for they had rebelled against the words of God and despised the counsel of the Most High”, in seeking counsel from the world or secular counselors you would be fleeing from your Christian foundations and fall into rebellion against God. Don’t let pride get in the way of the rich blessings that are available through marital restoration.

There may be Christian marriage counselors available at the local churches in your neighborhood or even your home church.  If not, you can call your church and ask for a recommendation.  Maybe a friend, family member or colleague may have recently sought Christian counsel and they can give you the name of a Christian marriage counselor.  If cost is an issue, these Christian marriage counselors will most certainly work out a fee or payment plan that will work for you.  I am sure they understand how finances can be one of the issues that may be contributing to your current situation.

You have been blessed with a Christian mate and you may have enjoyed several years of marital bliss. Then you hit a bump in the road and become more concerned about your immediate physical need and self satisfaction than lasting spiritual blessings. You may not want to hear what is best for you but do not refuse to put your trust in God’s care and provision and listen to what He may be saying to you through a Christian marriage counselor. In Psalm 106:13 it says “But they soon forgot what He had done and did not wait for His counsel.” Don’t forget what He did for you by bringing that special person into your life and miss out on the many blessings that may lay ahead for you.
